Swimmer Egorova: “There were a lot of invitations to the restaurant after the broadcast, we had to refuse everyone”

Medalist at the European Swimming Championships Anna Yegorova told that she received many invitations to the restaurant from fans after the broadcast during the Russian Championship in St. Petersburg.

Egorova won three freestyle distances at the Russian Short Course Swimming Championships – 200, 400, 800 m. After her first tournament victory, she complained on that she had not received invitations to a restaurant in St. Petersburg.

— What was more important, a hat-trick or a revenge for Sofia Dyakova for a long water?

– Neither. I wanted to break the Russian record in 400m, I keep swimming around it, but so far it hasn’t worked. I want to thank my family, my coaches, Kaliningrad. My father came into the stands to encourage me. I couldn’t lose. The first time was in 15 years of career. I was so nervous, but I’m so happy he’s here. It’s great when your loved ones are sitting in the stands.

— The duel between Dyakova and Egorova was not promoted?

— For journalists, this can be important, but my main focus is on time. And when she beat me, I didn’t show the seconds I wanted.

— Do you sharpen your teeth? No jealousy?

– I wouldn’t say that. She is young, shapely and works out. She still has a long way to go, but my career is at the end of its twilight.

— She said that no one had invited me to the restaurant yet…

— I received a lot of invitations, I had to refuse them all. I don’t know where everyone got my phone number. Don’t write, I won’t answer anyway (laughs),” 25-year-old Egorova told .
