Dovbik: People in Spain forget about the war in Ukraine. They are not interested

According to the Girona forward, the Spaniards, far from the war, simply do not understand what it is

Forward of the national team of Ukraine and Girona Artem Dovbik in an interview with Marina Mashkina for Sport Arena TV talked about how the Spaniards react to the topic of war in our country.

“People in Spain forget about the war in Ukraine. They just don’t understand what it’s like at all. We talked, it happened. They are not interested. We (Viktor Tsygankov and I) were asked a couple of times in the team. We show them the photo – for the first couple of minutes he is in shock, then they go running around as if nothing had happened, and are no longer interested.”

Dovbik moved to Girona last summer, signing a contract until 2028. The forward played 14 matches for the red and white team, scoring seven goals and providing six assists.

Girona leads the La Liga standings. On November 27, the team, for which, in addition to Dovbik, his compatriot and national team partner Viktor Tsygankov plays, will host Athletic Bilbao.

In the early hours of February 24, 2022, Russia launched rocket and air strikes on most Ukrainian cities and then launched a full-scale military invasion. The war against Russia has continued for the 641st day.
