Senior coach of the Russian cross-country ski team Yuri Borodavko told he was happy with the Olympic champion’s progress Veronica Stepanova in classic style racing.
Stepanova won the 10 km time trial in the classic style at the first stage of the Russian Cup in Vershina Toya, covering the distance in 29 minutes 17.6 seconds. The second result was shown by Anastasia Kuleshova (+28.0). The top three was closed by Alina Pekletsova (+33.4).
