Ex-coach of Dinamo Zagreb Bjelica heads Union

The capital’s team ranks penultimate in the Bundesliga

Union Berlin officially announced the appointment Nenada Bjelica to the post of head coach of the team. The details of the agreement with the 52-year-old Croatian have not been specified.

Bjelica’s previous job was Turkish Trabzonspor, which he left in October. During his career he also managed Osijek, Dinamo Zagreb, Spezia, Lech, Austria Vienna, Wolfsberg, Lustenau and Kärnten.

Bjelica’s coaching staff will include Marie-Louise Eta, who became the first female coach in the men’s Bundesliga in particular and the top championship in general.
