Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarov became a participant in the “Avatar Show” on the NTV channel.
The judges managed to untangle Kostomarov behind the Tin Woodman avatar. Irina Ponarovskaya was the first to voice this version.
“Honestly, I’m shocked how anyone can guess from an avatar behind it.” Irina [Понаровская] Excellent work, she understood me straight away. It’s good that you didn’t disturb the audience,” Kostomarov said.
At the end of the show, Kostomarov performed the song “The City That Does Not Exist”.
Kostomarov, 46, suffered multiple amputations after his hospitalization in 2023 and was discharged in July.
Kostomarov, partnered with Tatyana Navka, won gold at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, and also won the World Championships twice and the European Championships three times.
