Lunin will most likely play against Napoli and return to Real’s bench
Head coach Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti told when the goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga will be able to return to the field. The mentor also spoke about Andrey Luninewho replaced the Spaniard in the last Blancos matches.
“Lunin? The main thing is that he was ready to replace Kepa. Kepa will return to Granada and if everything goes well with him, he will play,” Ancelotti said.
Arrizabalaga suffered a torn abductor muscle in the warm-up before the Champions League match against Braga. In total, the Spaniard played 13 matches this season, in which he conceded 10 goals.
After Kepa’s injury, Lunin played three matches: Braga (3:0), Valencia (5:1) and Cadiz (3:0). The Ukrainian will probably start for Real and for the upcoming match with Napoli (November 29) in the Champions League.
Real are leading the Spanish league, one point ahead of Girona. Ancelotti’s team will play Granada on December 2.
