Athletistic/ Figure skating. Russian Alexander Enbert, silver medalist of the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang (South Korea) in the team figure skating competition, evaluated the results of the stage of the Russian Grand Prix in Moscow in men’s individual skating. The winner of the competition was Vladislav Dikidzhi, a resident of St. Petersburg.

“I believe that Vlad Dikidzhi, in the context of the entire Grand Prix series, is the main sensation of the competition. He is the only athlete who won two victories this season. In the conditions of the current competition, this is a great achievement.
If we take Mark Kondratyuk, Sasha Samarin, Dima Aliyev, these are already experienced athletes whom we know well, but Dikidzhi broke into the season brilliantly. It seems to me that his victory at the Moscow stage caused a sensation among other events where victories were more or less expected.

The fight for gold at the Russian Championship will be very interesting, because many other athletes will take part in it, ”Enbert said in Gazeta.Ru.

Vladislav Dikidzhi won the sixth and final stage of the Russian Grand Prix, scoring a total of 282.81 points for both skates. Mark Kondratyuk took second place and Daniil Samsonov third. Note that Dikidzhi previously became the winner of the Russian GP stage in Kazan.
