Babikov and Loginov answered the question about organizing joint races with skiers in the middle of the season

Biathlete Anton Babikov answered a question from an Olympic champion Alexandra Legkova on the possibility of organizing a joint race between biathletes and skiers.

— Would you like to compete with skiers in peak season and see who is the strongest? And how far?

— Such questions must always be approached with a dose of adventurism. When an Olympic champion offers you something like that, you definitely shouldn’t accept the 50k. I think we would choose a shorter distance, 10 km, maximum 20 km. This certainly interests us, both in the cross-country skiing format and in the combination of cross-country skiing and biathlon. In any case, we are in favor of such an approach and such competition. “We are ready to accept anything that can give us growth points,” Babikov said on the “Gromko” show on .

Alexander Loginov also supported the idea of organizing races between biathletes and skiers.

— I will certainly support Anton regarding races linked to skiers. It would be awesome and spectacular. More precisely, a kind of “cut” for 10 or 15 km,” Loginov added.

You can watch live broadcasts of biathlon races on the channels of the Match holding company, as well as on the sites matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru.
