Odessa residents played with ten men from the middle of the first half
Dnepr-1 defeated in a goal shootout Chernomorets in the 15th round match Ukrainian Premier League – 5:2.
Dnipro opened the scoring in the first half, Alexander Filippov scored. Odessa bounced back six minutes later thanks to a goal from Artur Avagimyan. However, four minutes later Avagimyan received a red card, and the Odessa residents finished the match in the minority.
After the break, Dnepr-1 achieved a comfortable advantage after goals from Vladimir Adamyuk and Bogdan Lednev. Chernomorets, even in the minority, tried to win back and reduced the score – the goal was scored by Orest Kuzyk. However, at the very end, Vladimir Tanchik and Denis Miroshnichenko sealed the rout.
Dnepr-1 scored 33 points and returned to clear first place, three points ahead of Krivbass and Polesie. Chernomorets suffered a third defeat in a row and is in ninth place.
In the next match, Dnepr-1 will host Vorskla on December 2. Chernomorets will play against LNZ on December 3.
