Belik’s team still has a chance of qualifying from the group
Shakhtar U-19 confidently outplayed his peers from Antwerp in a formal home match of the 5th round of the group stage UEFA Youth League – 3:1.
Alexander Yushchenko and Danil Savin scored goals for Alexey Belik’s team. The second and decisive goal was scored by the Belgian club player Sofyan El-Mazhad.
The only goal for the visiting team was scored by Gerard Vandeplea. At the very end of the match, the already mentioned El Majad was sent off from the field.
Belik’s team, with six points, remains third in Group H. Antwerp U-19 is a hopeless outsider, having lost all five matches.
