“No! And again, no! No beer! A Russian cannot drink beer in the stadiums, because then there will be vodka! And there will be fights. Let them enjoy the action : is it football or hockey,” said Tarasova.
On July 7, Dmitry Svishchev, chairman of the Russian State Duma committee for physical culture and sports, said that the committee was working on a draft law on the sale of beer in stadiums, which is relevant in due to the imminent start of Russian Premier League games.
