Swedish skiers Joanna Sundling , Lynn Swan And Frida Carlsson has tested positive for coronavirus, reports Expressen.
Earlier, Swedish national team skier William Poromaa missed the World Cup mass start in Ruka (Finland) last weekend as he tested positive for COVID-19.
“We are in a situation where several team members have tested positive for COVID-19. “The situation is clearly unfortunate and we are currently taking a number of measures to minimize the spread of infection,” said Swedish national team doctor Rikard Noberius.
Sundling and Swan will miss the second World Cup in Gällivare (Sweden), which will take place on December 2 and 3. Karlsson has been isolated from her teammates and still has a chance to compete because she is asymptomatic.
