Irina Rodnina, three-time Olympic champion in pair skating and State Duma deputy, commented on the decision of the Russian dance duo Annabelle Morozov – Igor Eremenko to change their sports citizenship. Earlier it became known that the skaters said goodbye to coach Anzhelika Krylova and left for the United States. Judging by preliminary data, they plan to play for France.
“I don’t really remember Morozov and Eremenko, so I’m not sorry that they decided to change their citizenship. It’s a shame when people die, and in this case it’s just a form “Good luck to them on their new path,” Rodnina noted in a conversation with the Sport24 correspondent.
