Nine-time world cross-country ski champion Johannes Klebo will take part in two races of the Norwegian Cup, which will take place on Friday and Saturday in the village of Golo, the agency reports. NRK with reference to NTBs.
“Klebo signed up for the freestyle sprint on Friday and the 10km classic on Saturday,” Norwegian Ski Association spokesman Eirik Husby said.
On Monday, the athlete announced that he would not participate in the second stage of the World Cup, scheduled to take place in Sweden next weekend. He explained his decision by saying he needed to train more after suffering from coronavirus.
