Russian Diving Federation President Stanislav Druzhinin said he does not rule out the Chinese team’s participation in the Friendship Games.
The first stage of the Friendship Games, which will include international scuba diving competitions, will take place in late July – early August.
— We focus on Asia, they have the strongest teams. The practice of competition with Asian teams, especially with China, is very important. We negotiate how their athletes can participate in our competitions and how our athletes can travel to their competitions. We do not rule out that the Chinese team may perform at the Friendship Games. They have just returned from the World Championships in Budapest, I hope they will come to us,” Druzhinin told reporters.
