Kepa began training with Real Madrid’s general group

He could return to the field in the next match against Granada

Real began preparations for the match of the 15th round of Primera against Granada. The goalkeeper returned to training with the team’s general group Kepa Arrizabalagarecovering from an injury.

Earlier, Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti said that if everything is fine with Kepa, he will play against Granada. Otherwise, Ukrainian Andrey Lunin will take his place in goal.

Kepa suffered a torn abductor muscle in the warm-up before the Champions League match against Braga. In total, the Spaniard played 13 matches this season, in which he conceded 10 goals.

After Kepa’s injury, Lunin played four matches: Braga (3:0), Valencia (5:1), Cadiz (3:0) and Napoli (4:2). In total, the Ukrainian has 6 matches (4 goals conceded) this season.

Real is leading the Spanish Championship, ahead of Girona Viktor Tsygankov and Artem Dovbik in additional indicators. Ancelotti’s team will play their next match against Granada on December 2.
