Judoist Viskov was recognized as the best young athlete of the month
National Olympic Committee of Ukraine recognized judoka Dilshota Khalmatova the best athlete of November in Ukraine. Dilshot’s personal mentor – Vitaly Dubrova — became the best coach of the month.
In early November, Khalmatov won a silver medal at the 2023 European Championships in Montpellier. In the final bout in the up to 60 kg category, Dilshot lost to Luka Mkheidze from France with a score of 0:1.
Judoist recognized as the best young athlete of November Nazar Viskov. His mentor is Anna Kashtanova — received an award for the best coach of a young athlete.
18-year-old Viskov won gold in the up to 60 kg category at the U-23 European Youth Championships in Potsdam, Germany, defeating Luis Barroso Lopez from Spain in the final.
The award ceremony will take place on December 26 at the Olympic House.
