Golodyuk: There’s still a feeling about the game, the guys could have played much better

The Kharkiv coach believes that the fate of the match against Shakhtar was decided by one episode

Trainer Metalist 1925 Oleg Golodyuk commented on his team’s defeat from Shakhtar in the 16th cheer match UPL.

“After every game we say that we are satisfied with the desire and dedication of the guys. Regarding the game itself, there was probably a feeling that the guys could have played much better.”

“We planned substitutions before the first goal we conceded. I don’t know, we didn’t have time to spend them by 30 seconds. Because we saw that some guys were already tired and needed to freshen up their game. But we didn’t have time.”

“How has Shakhtar’s game changed under Pusic compared to van Leeuwen? Drastically. There are still high-level players there. A single episode decided the fate of the match.”

Let us remind you that Shakhtar confidently beat Metalist 1925 with a score of 2:0. Alexander Zubkov scored the winning goal in the 59th minute.

Metalist 1925 is in 11th position. The Kharkiv team suffered their seventh defeat in the last nine matches and the third in a row.

In the next round of the Ukrainian championship, Golodyuk’s team will play against Dynamo.
