Figure skater Radionova about CSKA football: “I watch every match where Kostya plays”

Russian figure skating champion Elena Radionova told that she watches all the football club matches CSKA with the participation of the spouse Konstantin Kuchaev and knows all the players of the MIR Russian Premier League (RPL).

This summer, Radionova married CSKA midfielder Kuchaev. The player’s contract with the military club expires on June 30, 2024. The Muscovites occupy 5th place in the Russian Championship standings with 28 points.

— Are you good at football? Are you cheering for your husband from the stands?

— I watch all the matches where Kostya plays. After football we can discuss the match if he wishes. I understood the rules, I know the RPL players. When my husband is at home, there is always football on TV. When Kostya plays, I come to the stadium and cheer for him. I am a regular visitor to the VEB Arena.

— Will your children be figure skaters or football players?

— It’s too early to talk about it, we have to become parents first. Our worldview can change over time. I have nothing against sport. And it doesn’t matter what type it will be. Sport instills discipline, character, develops muscles and immunity. But we are not yet thinking about what the children will do,” Radionova told .
