As learned, the skaters of the group of the Honored Coach of Russia Eteri Tutberidze On Wednesday, December 6, training will take place for the first time in the new figure skating center.
In September, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the completion of the construction of the Tutberidze Figure Skating Center in Yasenevo. The facility was built five months ahead of schedule.
Among Tutberidze’s most famous students are Olympic champions Yulia Lipnitskaya, Alina Zagitova, Kamila Valieva and Anna Shcherbakova, as well as Evgenia Medvedeva and Alexandra Trusova, who won silver medals. Tutberidze now coaches Sofia Akatieva, Adelia Petrosyan, Daria Usacheva and Maya Khromykh.
