Russian figure skater Ksenia Sinitsyna said that when staging the program, Vera Harutyunyan advised him not to chase places, but to show the beauty and elegance of skating.

— Vera Anatolyevna [Арутюнян]When she was preparing the program, she said that you shouldn’t chase places, that you should go out and show people figure skating. Beauty, elegance of skating, femininity, because there is very little of it now. For example, you come to the same ballet – you don’t see how the ballerinas suffer, perform something, use some kind of force. You must demonstrate skill in skating, fluidity from one movement to another, brevity. There must be a precise program, a concept, so that the spectator understands, gets inspired, feels present at the show and appreciates it.

“She agrees with her and supports her.” But we must not forget the elements either, it is the main component of our sport. Nevertheless, the task is to combine both technical and artistic parts,” Sinitsina said as quoted by “Championship”.

In November, Sinitsyna won the Russian Figure Skating Grand Prix in Samara.
