“There will be no quadruple sheepskin coat at the Russian Championship. My goal is to perform cleanly” – Sinitsyna

Figure skater Ksenia Sinitsyna said that she would not show a quadruple sheepskin coat at the Russian Championship.

Sinitsyna trains at the Snow Leopards school with coaches Svetlana Panova and Tatyana Moiseeva. This season, the 19-year-old athlete won the fifth stage of the Russian Cup Grand Prix in Samara.

— At the Russian Championships, no, there will be no quadruple, because my goal now is to perform well and take good positions to qualify for the national team. For me, it is a priority. It is better to perform cleanly and take a higher place than to fall and it is unknown how the skating event will go in the future. Because, as the coach told me, the best program is a cleanly skated program. When you fall, even if you continue to do everything right, the imprint remains that you fell, and it’s not that memorable, the program stands out. There are no such positive reviews as the program is “wow”, “Championship” quotes Sinitsyna.

The 2024 Russian Figure Skating Championships will take place from December 20 to 25 in Chelyabinsk.
