Girona with Tsygankov in a strong-willed style defeated Orihuela in the King’s Cup

The white-reds were inferior after the first half, but scored four goals in the second

Girona crushed on the road Orihuela in the 1/32 finals King’s Cup – 5:2.

The guests opened the scoring early in the match, with midfielder Pablo Torre scoring. However, Orihuela managed to score twice in the first half and went into the break with a one-goal lead.

In the second half, Girona put the squeeze on the representative of the Spanish fourth division. Stuani scored a double, and Porto and Valeri scored another goal each.

Ukrainian winger of the White-Reds Viktor Tsygankov started the match on the bench and came on at the end of the match. Let us remind you that striker Artem Dovbik was not included in the squad for the cup match.

Girona ranks second in La Liga, behind Real Madrid in additional indicators. The team of Tsygankov and Dovbik will play their next match on December 10 against Barcelona.
