Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarov participated in the TEFI awards ceremony.
Kostomarov took the stage with his wife Oksana Domnina and the audience greeted them standing.
The athlete suffered multiple amputations after being hospitalized in January and was discharged in July.
The figure skater, partnered with Tatyana Navka, won gold at the 2006 Olympics in Turin, and also won the world championships twice and the European championships three times.
The award ceremony for the winners of the TEFI-2023 National Television Prize will take place on December 7 and 8.
