Svetlana Abramova, retired personal trainer Angelique Sidorova told that she left the positions of head coach of the Russian national athletics team, presidium and coaching council of the All-Russian Athletics Federation (ARAF).
Sidorova, a silver medalist at the 2020 Olympics, announced her retirement from her sporting career on Saturday.
“I no longer have anything in common with the national team, nothing connects me. She resigned from the post of head coach, from the presidium, from the coaching council,” Abramova told .
Abramova worked with the main and reserve teams of the Russian pole vault team. The specialist was also a member of the presidium of the ARAF and served as vice-president of the council of head coaches of the federation. Abramova remains on the list of leaders published on the ARAF website.
