Kostomarov will take part in Averbukh’s show

Russian Olympic silver medalist, coach and choreographer Ilya Averbukh says that Roman Kostomarov will participate in his show on December 17.

On Monday, Kostomarov posted a video on his Telegram channel explaining how he went ice skating for the first time after amputations. Together with Tatyana Navka, he won gold at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, as well as the World Championships twice and the European Championships three times.

— Will Kostomarov perform on December 17?

– Thank you very much to all. The country united in the face of this tragedy. Great support from everyone. It is very important. It’s very important to me that Roma is (on the show) on December 17th. I don’t want to speculate in what capacity. Viewers will see Roma. He took part in our tour in Sochi and went on the ice at the end. The public could not remain indifferent.

Roma always talked about what was inside him. It is a great support and a great strength for us. It is important that Roman and Tanya Navka confirmed their participation in our show, as friends and friends with whom we started. They played at my very first show.

I thank Tatiana Tarasova, who agreed to be here. It is a great honor for me. Thanks to Zhenya Medvedeva and Lesha Yagudin. For me, this is an important event, an important step. I am happy to have the opportunity today to speak with you among friends. There will be an even bigger circle on December 17th at our gala. It arouses great interest, 90 percent of the room is sold. My birthday is December 18, but it’s Monday. On December 17, we will also celebrate two birthdays: Elizaveta Tuktamysheva and Evgenia Tarasova. There will be a big festive evening.

I hope I have time to summarize. Many projects were implemented, but everything happened like one day. “Thanks to fate and my parents for what I have,” the correspondent of reports Averbukh’s words.
