Silver medalist of the Grand Prix Final and the Russian Figure Skating Championship Maria Sotskova gave birth to a child.
The former athlete published photos of her discharge on a social network.

Sotskova finished her professional career in the summer of 2020. In March 2021, the Russian Figure Skating Federation announced that Sotskova had been suspended for 10 years for anti-doping rule violations.
Sotskova is the winner of the Grand Prix series, silver and bronze medalist of the Russian championships. At the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang, the figure skater took eighth place.
