The fight took place in London at the O2 Arena. Chisora ​​won by split decision. Two referees gave victory to Chisora ​​- 116-114, 116-112, and the third to the Bulgarian boxer – 116-112.

Chisora ​​won the vacant WBA International belt. The title of a full-fledged WBA champion belongs to Oleksandr Usyk.

It was the second fight between the boxers. In May 2016, Pulev defeated the Briton by split decision.

Recall that before this victory, Chisora ​​lost in the last three fights, losing to Oleksandr Usyk and twice to Joseph Parker. In May, Pulev defeated American Jerry Forrest by unanimous decision after 10 rounds.
