The sixth victory of the Ukrainian team in Group A
Prometheus Turkish confidently won in Riga Besiktas in the match of the 11th round of Group A Eurocup.
At the end of the first quarter, Ronen Ginzburg’s team made a breakthrough and led by 12 points. However, the Ukrainian team failed to build on their success in the second 10 minutes. The teams went into the big break with the score 45:40 in favor of Prometheus.
In the third quarter, Prometheus left no chance for the opponents, increasing the lead to 22 points. In the final period, the Ukrainian team calmly brought the match to victory – 89:70.
For Prometheus, Ty Odiase scored a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Ondřej Balvin has 17 points and 9 rebounds,
Prometheus achieved his sixth victory in the group and moved up to fifth place. Besiktas is in fourth position.
Ginzburg’s team will play the next match on December 16 against Tallinn Kalev. On December 20, Prometheus will play against London Lions in the Eurocup.
