The “Heavenly Grace” international rhythmic gymnastics tournament kicked off in Beijing.
In the first all-around event, the athletes performed with jump ropes. The best result was shown by the representative of Belarus Daria Verenich, who scored 31.050 points.
The second was her compatriot Daria Grokhotova, who received 30.150 points. Russian Arina Tkachuk finished with the third result (29.300 points).
On Friday, December 15, the athletes will also perform exercises with a hoop and a ball.
Gymnasts perform five types of programs (exercises with rope, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon) according to special rules developed by the International Association of Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs “Heavenly Grace”.
