Indiana Pacers legend suffered cardiac arrest last week
The legendary basketball player died at the age of 74 NBA George McGinnis.
McGinnis’ cause of death was complications caused by cardiac arrest. George was admitted to intensive care last week.
McGinnis played for the Indiana Pacers, Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets. With the Pacers, he became a two-time American Basketball Association champion, and McGinnis also participated in three NBA All-Star Games.
In 2017, George was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame. The Pacers have retired McGinnis’ jersey number (No. 30).
