The athletes performed the second type of program in the all-around at the “Heavenly Grace” rhythmic gymnastics tournament, which is taking place in Beijing.
The best in the hoop exercise was the representative of Belarus, Daria Grokhotova, who scored 33.050 points. The second place was won by Russian Maya Kolobovnikova (32.600 points), and another Russian athlete Arina Tkachuk (31.500) took third place. Earlier, Tkachuk finished third in the jump rope routine.
Gymnasts perform five types of programs (exercises with rope, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon) according to special rules developed by the International Association of Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs “Heavenly Grace”.
