The competition consisted of five stages: lifting dumbbells / dumble (where the unofficial world record – 153 kg – belongs to Novikov), “Hercules Gate”, “farmer’s walk” with a load, traction axel and lifting stones on a pedestal.
After the victory, Novikov called on fans to donate money to the defenders of Ukraine, who are at war with Russia.
“The best congratulations for me is a donut for the boys,” wrote Ukrainian strongman on his Instagram page.
Recall that Novikov took third place at the World’s Strongest Man-2022 tournament.
Novikov also won the title of World’s Strongest Man (the strongest man on the planet) in 2020. In March 2022, the Ukrainian took second place at the prestigious Arnold Strongman Classic tournament.
