“One of the main priorities of the Kontinental Hockey League is to attract young people to the sport and, in particular, to hockey. Unfortunately, the audience for our sport is aging. I am deeply convinced that modern boys and girls from 5 to 15 years old need to fall in love with sports.
Therefore, we have now started equipping general education schools with hockey equipment, especially in Russian cities where KHL teams are located,” Morozov said as quoted by the official KHL website.
Note that the event brought together 15 winners of the fourth season of the Leaders of Russia contest.
