Figure skating coach Natalya Linichuk, in a conversation with , said that breakups of dancing couples can be called a normal phenomenon, especially among young people.

In December it became known that 67-year-old Linichuk would begin working with dance duets at the Plushenko Academy. His students were Arina Ushakova and Valery Angelopol.

— How do you generally assess the current state of our ice dancing?

“It’s hard for me to judge, I didn’t see much.” Every coach and athlete does their best. I don’t think anyone deliberately sabotages training or trains athletes poorly.

— According to you, how can we stop all the disintegration and rearrangements in our dances?

– It always has been and will be. Maybe not in such quantities. Nobody is handcuffed. It’s just that it may have turned out that there were a lot of them at once. This is a normal phenomenon, especially among the modern generation of young people.
