Leclerc wins Austrian Grand Prix, Verstappen second

Sainz and Perez retired

Charles Leclerc from Ferrari became the winner of the race in the framework of Austrian Grand Prix. The driver from Monaco won the race in Spielberg, starting from first place in qualifying.

Second place in Austria was taken by the leader of the overall Formula 1 classification Max Verstappen. Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton finished third.

Also finishing in the top 10 were George Russell (Merdeses), Esteban Ocon (Alpin), Mick Schumacher (Haas), Lando Norris (McLaren), Kevin Magnussen (Haas), Daniel Ricciardo (McLaren) and Fernando Alonso (Alpin).

Note that the stage in Spielberg ended ahead of schedule for Sergio Perez from Red Bull and Carlos Sainz from Ferrari.

The next Grand Prix will be held July 22-24 in Paul Ricard.
