Double Olympic champion Evgeny Plushenko admitted that with the opening of the ice dance department at Plushenko’s Angels Academy, her dream came true.
On Friday, December 15, a new branch of the Plushenko Academy of Angels was opened in Moscow, where it was announced that it would create an ice dance department under the leadership of coach Natalya Linichuk.
— We opened an ice dance department under the leadership of Honored Coach of Russia Natalya Vladimirovna Linichuk. The doors of our academy are open to everyone. We have excellent ice and coaches for the initial training of children. A team of coaches with extensive experience in youth and sports categories. We are happy. “Finally, our dream has come true: all types of figure skating are now united under one roof in Moscow,” Plushenko wrote on his Telegram channel.
The first branch of the Plushenko Academy of Angels opened in the Russian capital in April 2017.
Linichuk, 67, and Gennady Karponosov, are the winner of the 1980 Olympic Games, as well as a two-time world and European champion.
