The St. Petersburg team won gold in the 4×50 meter mixed medley relay as part of the Vladimir Salnikov Cup.
Miron Lifintsev, Evgenia Chikunova, Roman Shevlyakov and Alexandra Kurilkina achieved a time of 1 minute 39.50 seconds. The Novosibirsk region team (Alexandra Shmakov, Alexander Trait, Arina Surkova and Daria Trofimova; 1:40.08) finished in second place, and the Moscow team (Stepan Kalabin, Danil Semyaninov, Anastasia Zhuravleva and Daria Mullakaeva; 1:41.27) finished. In third place.
In the men’s 200m butterfly, Egor Pavlov won (1:52.42), Mikhail Vekovishchev (1:53.28) was second and German Zazhirsky third (1:54.75). In the 400 meter medley, Ilya Borodin won (3:58.21), Maxim Stupin (4:03.84) took second place and Alexey Sudarev (4:04.50) took third. In women over a similar distance, Irina Krivonogova won gold (4:35.02), Daria Rogozhinova won silver (4:38.32) and Anastasia Sorokina won bronze (4:38.64 ).
Savely Luzin won the men’s 400m freestyle (3:40.84). Second was Vladislav Reznichenko (3:42.97), third was Roman Akimov (3:43.21). In the women’s 800m freestyle, first place was won by Ksenia Misharina (8:15.95), second by Anna Egorova (8:19.01) and third by Sofya Dyakova (8:22.03).
The tournament takes place in St. Petersburg from December 16 to 18.
