Evgeny Kuznetsov and Nikita Shleicher showed the best result in synchronized diving on a three-meter springboard at the Cup of the Diving Federation of Russia, which ended in Kazan.
The athletes took first place with 417.48 points. Alexander Cherepakhin and Artem Makarov came second (374.10 points). The third result was shown by Russians Egor Lapin and Ilya Molchanov – 366.87 points, however, since according to the rules of the men’s competition the two best couples in Russia are awarded, third place went to Igor Myalin and Vyacheslav Kachanov representing Uzbekistan, who showed the fifth result – 351.15 points.
In men’s synchronized platform diving, Schleicher won gold medals in a pair with Alexander Belevtsev – 433.56 points. Arkady Aidarov and Sandro Rogava won silver with 364.86 points. Russians Maxim Gulidov and Sultan Navruzov have the third result (354.72). Bronze went to Iranians Kiumars Aslani and Syed Mohammad Moghadashi, who achieved the sixth result – 282.42.
In the women’s synchronized diving on the 3-meter springboard, Ulyana Klyueva and Victoria Frolova were the first to score 292.50 points. Second place went to Alexandra Bibikina and Evgenia Selezneva (273.90), with the top three being completed by Vitaly Koroleva and Maria Polyakova (272.10).
Maria Bruenok and Evdokia Gaidai-Turlova won in synchronized platform diving with a score of 266.82 points. Vasilisa Antonenko and Alina Serova (266.76) won silver, Alina Arefieva and Polina Yalova took third place (257.19).
Divers from 9 countries participated in the tournament: Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Serbia, Thailand, Ecuador and Iran.
