Portuguese talent fails to shine at Camp Nou
Barcelona agreed with Lisbon Sporting under the terms of the transfer of the Portuguese winger Francisco Trinkau.
22-year-old Trinkau will move to Sporting for 10 million euros. The term of the contract is until 2027.
In addition, Barcelona insisted on including in the agreement a condition on the possibility of repurchasing Trinkau.
Trinkau moved to Barcelona in the summer of 2020 for €31 million from Braga. During the year in Catalonia, he played 42 matches in which he scored 3 goals and gave 2 assists.
In the summer of 2021, he was loaned to Wolverhampton Wolves, for whom he made 28 Premier League appearances, scored 2 goals and provided 1 assist.
Earlier it was reported that Barcelona plans to release more than 10 players this summer.
