Olympic medalist in swimming Kliment Kolesnikov won the 50-meter backstroke at the Vladimir Salnikov Cup, which takes place in St. Petersburg.
Kolesnikov clocked 22.42 seconds. Miron Lifintsev (22.75) took second place, Pavel Samusenko (22.78) closed the top three. Two-time Olympic champion Evgeny Rylov (22.95) finished fourth.
Among women, Arina Khiteva (26.46) won in a similar discipline, European champion Maria Kameneva (26.49) was second, and Alexandra Kurilkina (26.64) was third.
