Choreographer Alexey Zheleznyakov, in a conversation with , spoke about his work after the departure of Eteri Tutberidze from the group.
On November 19, the specialist told that he had left the technical staff on his own initiative. Zheleznyakov collaborated with Tutberidze throughout his career in Russia.
— I work a lot, many classes, groups, two studios are open, many students from different schools. Professionals are not left out. There aren’t even any days off. In my studios, I am a choreographer and director. And when they invite me to different teams, I help with the choreography.
— After leaving the Tutberidze group, maybe you have a new professional goal/dream?
—Probably no dreams. It’s incredibly pleasant when your students earn places on serious podiums. This is what I work for. Without results, it becomes uninteresting. There has to be an incentive, our incentive is student victories. No matter what school a student goes to, if you work with them, it’s always great. It’s a constant story in a teacher’s job: you’re not just striving to make money. Businessmen have a good expression: when doing business, you should not think about money, but love the business – and then you will succeed. It works about the same for coaches,” Zheleznyakov told .
