Swimmer Prigoda talks about the 200m breaststroke: “There is always competition, our swims are always among the most spectacular”

Short course world champion Kirill Prigoda said the 200m breaststroke still looks very competitive.

Prigoda won the Vladimir Salnikov Cup on Monday with a time of 2 minutes 2.32 seconds. Mikhail Dorinov took second place, Danil Semyaninov took third place.

— This year was a training year. There is always competition in the 200m breaststroke, our swims are always spectacular. I came out thinking it would be difficult, that it was impossible not to listen from that distance. Second place was separated by a hundredth of a second, this is a pleasant bonus which once again shows the seriousness of the competition,” reports the correspondent, according to Prigoda’s words.
