Swimming world record holder Kliment Kolesnikov won the 100 meter backstroke at the Vladimir Salnikov Cup in St. Petersburg.
Kolesnikov clocked 48.63 seconds in the final. The second place was taken by the two-time Olympic champion Evgeny Rylov (+0.75), the top three was closed by Miron Lifintsev (+0.99).
In the same discipline among women, the world and European short course champion Maria Kameneva became the first – 57.17 seconds. The second was Elizaveta Agapitova (+0.90), the third was Vlada Eggi (+1.16).
