Swimming world record holder Evgenia Chikunova won the 200 meter breaststroke at the Vladimir Salnikov Cup in St. Petersburg.
Chikunova showed a result of 2 minutes 16.89 seconds in the final. Took second place Irina Shvaeva (+5.97), third was Tatyana Gorbunova (+8.74).
Among men, Kirill Prigoda won at this distance – 2:02.32. Mikhail Dorinov (+0.01) finished second, Danil Semyaninov (+0.65) third. European Championship silver medalist and short course world champion, Belarusian Ilya Shimanovich, came fourth (+1.26).
