Sikharulidze: “We are concerned about the situation in dance, we cannot say that we see active progress”

Acting head of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) Anton Sikharulidze said the organization is concerned about the ice dancing situation.

— We are concerned about the situation of dance. We cannot say that we see active progress there. We are now in a position where we discuss changes daily to promote their development. One of our principles that we promote is healthy competition, which will inspire children to achieve great feats and cool programs.

We are committed to this work and will not leave it until we see results. But it is too early to say that the dance duets of our country are leaders, ”reports the correspondent of , reporting Sikharulidze’s words.

The Russian Figure Skating Championships will take place in Chelyabinsk from December 20 to 24.
