Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarov was recognized by Russians as the athlete of the year, according to the results of a survey by the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM).
The survey was carried out by telephone on December 16. 8% of respondents consider Kostomarov to be the athlete of 2023 in Russia.
