The legendary forward scored an assist in the lost match between Kladno and Pardubice
Legendary Czech striker Jaromir Jagr played a professional match in the Czech Extraliga at the age of 51.
The forward entered the court as part of the second line Kladno in the match with Pardubice (3:4). Jaromir spent a total of about 14 minutes on the ice. During this time, Jagr made an assist and also received a two-minute suspension.
The Czech forward played for Pittsburgh, Rangers, Washington, New Jersey, Florida, Calgary and other NHL clubs. Jagr won the Stanley Cup twice. Also as a member of the Czech national team, Jaromir won gold medals at the 1998 Olympics and two world champion titles.
In 2017, Jagr returned to Kladno, where he began his career. The club, together with its legendary student, rose from the Czech second division to the Extraliga. In the current Czech Championship, Kladno is in penultimate 13th place.
