A 24-year-old skater from Moscow twisted his leg while landing from an Axel during a short program and was unable to complete the program. Later it became known that the athlete was hospitalized and forced to withdraw from competition.
— There is nothing on the x-ray, I will do an MRI in Moscow.
– How come you fell from the axel?
“I don’t understand it at all yet,” Erokhov told .
