Bulgarian specialist Plamen Konstantinov will remain the head coach of Novosibirsk “Locomotive “, reports the club’s press service.
The new contract with the 50-year-old coach is valid for two more years – for seasons -2024/25 and -2025/26 – according to the “1+1” system.
Konstantinov has been working with the Russian team since 2016. In the 2019/20 season, he led them to gold medals at the Russian Championship. In addition, under his leadership, Lokomotiv became the bronze medalist of the Super League three times and once became the vice-champion of the country.
“I am very happy that the club has made this decision.” Plamen is already an integral part of Lokomotiv. The Novosibirsk team has enjoyed great success for many seasons and is one of the best Russian teams – Plamen’s contribution to the team’s work is enormous. This season, Lokomotiv is at the top of the national championship standings after 12 matches.
